A Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery

Since 2006, Obesity Solutions has earned the Center of Excellence designation from the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. The designation requires surgeons to have performed over 200 bariatric surgeries and at least 50 a year. Having performed over 1,400 bariatric procedures, Obesity Solutions far surpasses this requirement, so you are assured of a surgeon experienced in this specialty with a professional team and support program in place.

The value of this designation is recognized by the federal government, through Medicare, and many credible insurance providers who demand that their patients only use Centers of Excellence. Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare have also awarded their own Center of Excellence designation to Obesity Solutions.
